Review Committee reviewed the application, eligibility criteria checklist and renovation <br />plan and concluded that the project prequalified for reimbursement of the design fees up <br />to $3,000 for the renovation work Through the review process the DRC recommended <br />that windows be added to the west side of the home and/or addition. The homeowner <br />was not able to incorporate this change since they have plans to add additional storage in <br />the interior of the home on the west wall. They would like to incorporate more closet <br />space and shelving for storage. The only other question that the DRC had was <br />clarification on the reuse plan for the existing laundry room on the lower level. The <br />homeowner will be removing this laundry room and keeping the wash tub and floor drain <br />and enclosing it in a closet in the basement. They do not intend to keep a second laundry <br />room in the basement. <br />3.2 The residential inspector has reviewed the plans and the building permit has been issued. <br />The project (as attached) provides two additions off the back of the home with the <br />interconnected deck The proj ect includes addition of a main floor family room off the <br />dining room with a spiral stair case that connects to a new lower level family room, <br />enlarging of the master bathroom, and additional enclosed storage behind the garage. <br />3.3 The Millasovich's are young homeowners with 2 children wanting to stay in Roseville <br />and be near the St. Anthony School District. They met the new eligibility criteria <br />established by the HRA in 2008. The addition will provide the Millasovich's with the <br />additional space they need for their family.
