The lower levy and budget numbers are reflective of the following cuts from the budget <br />reviewed in July: <br />✓$100,000 reduction in funds allocated to the multi-family loan program. <br />✓$20,000 reduction in funds for the "Green book". Staff will continue to <br />partner with other communities and groups to lower the cost of the HRA's <br />involvement. <br />✓$20,000 reduction in funds allocated to the "Energy Efficiency Pilot <br />Program" The lower amount will allow for one resident to participate in the <br />pilot program. <br />✓$25,000 reduction in funds allocated to the Work Force Housing program <br />which was intended to give a financial incentive for persons who work in <br />Roseville to live in Roseville. <br />✓$5000 reduction in funds allocated to the "Why Roseville" marketing <br />campaign. <br />✓$17,000 reduction in funds allocated for a Market Study for the single-family <br />market. <br />These cuts total $187,000 for the original proposed budget. <br />Suggested RHRA Action: <br />Discuss and review proposed 2010 RHRA Budget and consider adoption of a resolution adopting <br />the 2010 RHRA levy. <br />Prepared by: Patrick Trudgeon, RHRA Executive Director <br />7eanne Kelsey, Housing Program Coordinator <br />Attachments: A.
