✓ Living Smarter Home and Garden Fair- budget reflects cost to continue same <br />marketing approaches that were put in place in 2009. ($22,000) <br />✓ Multi-family Loan Program reflects additional funds to be set aside for a <br />revolving loan program. Multi-family Rental Rehab Loan Program provides <br />loans to multi-family properties that would be tied to energy audits and <br />making these properties more energy efficient ($150,000). <br />✓ Contract with Housing Resource Center for services and loan administration. <br />($3 0, 000) <br />✓ Neighborhood Enhancement Program-budget was increased to reflect <br />increases in cost for staff and services as well as an expansion of the program <br />to complete the whole city in a three-year period. ($20,550) <br />✓ Marketing - Costs for professional services and publication of materials that <br />promote the RHRA and its programs to Roseville residents. The budget is <br />broken out for maintaining outreach efforts of ($10, 500). <br />✓ General HRA Expenditures — 2010 budget is increased staff costs. This <br />budget expenditure includes $5,000 for RHRA attorney. (Pat 15%, Kara @ <br />8.5 hours a week, Jeanne @ 29 hours per week, and Sheila @Shrs a month). <br />($106,500) <br />✓ Fiscal/Overhead Fee reflects 5% fee of the HRA General Expenditures for <br />Professional Services. ($5,325) <br />✓ Education/Training/Conferences reflect opportunities for Board members to <br />also go to conferences or attending workshops that would benefit the RHRA. <br />($1,725) <br />✓ Other Services and Charges reflect the amount that the RHRA pays for phone <br />landline, supplies and meeting materials. ($2,000) <br />In 2010, the following programs will be new: <br />✓ Green Plan Book was budgeted for based upon goal of HRA to increase <br />green improvements in properties. The amount budgeted would not cover all <br />of the costs associated with creating the book so RHRA staff is working on <br />finding communities and resources to partner with the RHRA for this plan <br />book ($5,000). <br />✓ Energy Efficiency Pilot program ($5,000) that would assist residents in <br />putting in energy efficient improvements. <br />✓ The City has been discussing more aggressive marketing campaign for Why <br />Roseville.
