HRA Meeting <br />Minutes – Tuesday, April 21, 2009 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br /> <br />enforcement of major issues inside buildings affecting the health, safety and general welfare of the <br />  <br />community; and trust issues and accuracy given the amount of staff resources available. <br /> <br /> <br />  <br />c.2009 Neighborhood Enhancement Program <br /> <br />Mr. Trudgeon briefly reviewed the 2009 Neighborhood Enhancement Update and the six (6) <br /> <br />neighborhoods scheduled for 2009. <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioners noted that the 2008 program had been well-received and brought many properties <br /> <br />into compliance; and reminded residents of the upcoming community clean-up day <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />d.First-Time Homebuyers Loan Program <br /> <br />  <br />Ms. Kelsey provided a brief update and additional information from Member Elkins and Ms. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Kelsey on Federal First-Time Homebuyer Tax Credit Loan options and underwriting criteria. It <br /> <br />  <br />was staff’s recommendation, based on limited time and feasibility of the program, that this program <br /> <br /> <br />not be implemented at this time. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioners concurred with staff’s recommendation. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />10.Information Reports & Other Business (Verbal Reports by Staff and Board Members) <br /> <br /> <br />Staff provided brief overviews of each item. <br /> <br /> <br />  <br />a.AEON Har Mar Apartment Development <br /> <br /> <br />  <br />b.Green Roof Improvement and HRA Involvement <br />  <br />Ms. Kelsey advised that a home in Roseville at 1148 Oakcrest Avenue had been chosen by this <br />  <br />green initiative to be highlighted on national television. <br />  <br />  <br />c.Roseville HRA to host/sponsor Realtor Day in Roseville – June 11, 2009 <br />  <br />Ms. Kelsey advised the Board of an upcoming event for St. Paul Area Realtors Association (SPAR) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />program highlighting benefits of Roseville and Schools. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />d.Boards & Staff Reports <br /> <br />  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />11.Future Agenda Items <br /> <br />  <br />Staff advised that this section of the agenda had been created to allow commissioners to be aware of <br /> <br /> <br />topics on upcoming agendas, and allowing for an opportunity for them to request any additional details <br /> <br /> <br />or related materials prior to that discussion.
