This funding was to come from
the HRA’s restricted funds which must be used for projects that serve low-moderate
income persons. The method of providing this funding to the project had not been
determined as CCHT was unable to secure tax credit funding and the project has been
delayed.
Gina Ciganik with CCHT provided a summary of their plans for other funding requests and noted
s part of that process, CCHT needs to demonstrate that they have financial
that a
commitments from other funding sources, particularly the local community that the
project is located in. However, he noted that the administrative services
component would remain the same. The HRA could choose to act on that component at
this time and the Executive Director component at a later date when additional
information on the impacts is collected. He noted that it is up to the HRA to make that
decision.
Chair Majerus noted that he has met with the City regarding staffing issues for 2007 and
that no resolution has been made regarding the Executive Director position.
