<br />Resolution No. 37 <br /> <br />Adopted November 10, 1952 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE AND S~LE OF CERTIFICATES OF <br />INDEBTEDNESS FUR THE PUF..POSE OF FINANCING THE PURCHASE OF FIRE EQUIPMENT <br />AND STREET EQUIPHENT FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILJE, i"IINNESaI'A. <br /> <br />FE I T RESOLVED By the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />as follows: <br />1. It is hereby determined that it is advisable, expedient, and <br />necessary to issue Certificates of Indebtedness of the Village for the <br />purpose of financing the purchase of fire qeuipment and street equipment <br />as follows: Thirty-Eight Thousand Dollars ($38,000.00) for fire and <br />street equipments. <br /> <br />2. The Village shall issue and sell its negotiable coupon general <br />obligation Certificates of Indebtedness as follows: Said certificates shall <br />be in the denomination of One Thousand Dollars (.$1,000.00) each, dated <br />January 2, 1953, to bear interest at the rate or rates in integral <br />multiples of one-fourth or one-tenth of one percent (1%) designated by the <br />successful bidder, payable January 2, 1954, and semi-annually on July 1st <br />and January 2nd of each year thereafter without option or prior <br />payment. <br />Said certificates shall mature serially on January 2nd in the years <br />and amounts as follows: <br />$ 5,000.00 in the years 1954, 1955, and 1956. <br />10,000.00 in the year 1957 <br />13,000.00 in the year 1958 <br /> <br />3. The bouncil will meet at the Village Hall in said Village on the <br />16th day of December, 1952, for the purpose of receiving and considering <br />sealed, b1ds for the purchase of said Certificates of Indebtedness. <br /> <br />4. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause <br />notice ot sale of such 6ertificates of Indebtedness to be published once <br />at least ten (10) days prior to the date of sale in the Rose Tribune <br />and in the Said notice shall be in substantially the following form: <br /> <br />NOTICE OF CERTIFICAS OF INDEBTEDNESS SALES, <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, NI\;NESOI'A <br />$38,000.00 STREET AND FIRE; EQUIPMENT <br />CERTIFICATES OF ENDEBTEDNESS <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of <br />Roo eviIle, Minnesota, will meet at the Village Hall in said Village at 2:00 <br />o'clock p.m. on the 16th day of December, 1952, for the purpose of <br />receiving and considering sealed bids for the purchase of $38,000.00 <br />negotiable coupon general obligation street and fire equipment certificates <br />of indebtedness to be issued for the purpose of providing money for the <br />
