~~, <br />Project Summary <br />As part of the City of Roseville's ongoing street <br />maintenance program, streets which have curb and <br />gutter but have a poor driving surface are improved <br />using a mill and overlay process. This process <br />usually consists of grinding all or a portion of the <br />existing surface off the roadway and replacing it <br />with a new blacktop driving surface. As part of the <br />process, sunken or badly deteriorated curb and <br />gutter will be replaced. The following streets are <br />included in this year's construction contract: <br />Segment 1: Municipal State Aid Mill & Overlay <br />• Cleveland/ TH36 Svc Dr (W. Co Rd B2 to W. <br />Perimeter Dr) <br />• County Road C2 (Lincoln Ave to Snelling) <br />• Lincoln Dr (Lydia Ave to Terrace Dr) <br />Segment 2: Roseville Street Mill & Overlay: <br />• Brenner Ave (Cleveland Ave to Evelyn St) <br />• Brenner Court (Old Highway 8 to Cul-de-sac) <br />• County Raad C2 (Cleveland Ave to Cul- de- sac) <br />• Evelyn St {W. County Road D to Brenner Ave) <br />• Farrington Cir (Transit Ave to Cul-de-sac) <br />• Farrington St (S Owasso Blvd. to Millwood Ave) <br />• Kent St {lana Lane to Woadhill Dr) <br />• Laurie Rd {Fernwood Ave to Lexington Ave <br />• Mackubin St (Iona Lane to W. County Road C) <br />• Millwood 5t (Western Ave to Farrington Ave) <br />• Mount Ridge Rd {W. Co Rd D to Brenner Ave) <br />• Sandhurst Dr (Fernwood Ave to Lexington Ave <br />• Sherren St (Fernwood Ave to Lexington Ave <br />• Virginia Cir (Transit Ave to Cul-de-sac} <br />• Woodhill Dr (Kent St to Western Ave) <br />There will be no assessments levied to property <br />owners to complete mill and overlay work. The <br />cost to perform this pavement maintenance is <br />funded by existing City funds. <br />A schedule for this work is not available at this time. <br />We anticipate that this work will commence in May. <br />All work should be completed by September 2010. <br />Mill and Overlay projects typically take between 3 <br />to 5 weeks to complete. <br />2n~n Contract B <br />Street Maintenance <br />Farrington Street Sanitary Sewer <br />The sanitary sewer on Farrington St between <br />Millwood Ave and Stanbridge Cir will be replaced <br />prior to pavement rehabilitation. This additional <br />utility work will require mailbox relocation and curb <br />removal. This work will add about one week to the <br />construction schedule for this street segment. <br />Farrington Circle Watermain <br />The watermain on Farrington Circle will be <br />completely replaced prior to pavement <br />rehabilitation. This additional utility work will <br />require mailbox relocation, curb removal, and <br />temporary water system set up.
