<br />This bond is one of a series in the aggregate principal amount of $1,000,000, <br />all of like date and tenor except as to serial number, interest rate, maturity, <br />and redemption privilege, issued by said Village for the purpose of defraying ex- <br />penses incurred and to be incurred in construction of an impr~ement designated <br />as "Sanitary Sewer Improvement No.3" of the Village of Ros8lrille, and is issued <br />pursuant to and in full conformity with resolutions duly adopted by the Village <br />Council after hearing as required bylaw and pursuant to and in full conformity <br />with the constitution and laws of the State of Hinnesota thereunto enabling, in- <br />cluding Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. This bond is payable primarily from <br />the Sanitary Sewer Improvement Bond Sinking Fund of the Village, but the Council <br />is reauired to pay the principal and interest thereof out of any funds in the <br />treasury in the event that the moneys on hand in said fund are at any time in- <br />sufficient to meet the payment of maturing principal and interest. <br /> <br />Bonds of this series bearing serial numbers 1 through 500 (maturing in the <br />years 1961 through 1970) are payable at their respective stated maturity dates <br />without option of prior payment, but those bearing serial numbers 501 through <br />1,000 (Maturing in the yeaTS 1971 through 1980) are each subject to redemption <br />and prepayment at the option of the Village on October 1, 1965, and any interest <br />payment date thereafter, in inverse order of their serial numbers, and at a <br />price of par and accrued interest plus a premium of $20 for each bond prepaid <br />on or before April 1, 1970, and without premium if prepaid on or after October 1, <br />1970. The Village will mail notice of the call of any of said bonds for redemp- <br />tion, not less than thirty days prior to the date specified for redemption, to <br />the holder, if known, and to the bank at which principal and interest are then <br />payable. Holders of prepayable bonds desiring to recei~re such notice may reg- <br />ister their names and addresses and the serial numbers of their bonds with the <br />Village Treasurer. <br /> <br />IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED, RECITED, COVENANTED AND AGREED that all acts, <br />conditions and things required by the Constitution and laws o~ the State of <br />Minnesota to be done, to exist, to happen and to be performed preliminary to and <br />in the issuance of this bond in order to make ita ~r alid and binding general <br />obligation of said Village according to its terms h~Te been done, do exist, <br />have happende and have been perofrmed as so required; that the Village has duly <br />determined the necessity and contracted for the construction of said impr01rement; <br />that the Sanitary Sewer Impr01rement Bond Sinking Fund has been duly created and <br />pr01Tision made for the support thereof by ad volorem taxes and special assess- <br />ments to be le~ried for the yeATS and in agp;regate Bmounts not less than five <br />pUr cent (5%) in e~cess of sums sufficient to pay the interest thereon and the <br />principal hereof as they respectively become due, and additional taxes, if needed <br />for said purpose, may be levied upon all taxable property in the Village, without <br />limitation as to rate or amount; and that the issuance of this bond did not cause <br />the indebtedness of said Villap'e to exceed any constitutional or statutory limi- <br />tation. <br /> <br />ITIJ WITNESS WHEREOF the village of Roseville, Ramsey C(bunty, Minnesot a, by <br />its Village Council, has caused this bond to be executed in its behalf by the <br />signature of its Mayor, countersigned by its Village Clerk, and sealed with its <br />official seal, and the interest coupons appurtenant hereto to be executed and <br />authenticated by the facsimile signatures of said officers, and has caused <br />this bond to be dated as of October 1, 1960. The legal opinion printed on <br />the back hereof is a true and correct copy of an original thereof on file in <br />the office of said clerk. <br /> <br />Hayor <br /> <br />
