REQUEST FOR HRA ACTION <br /> <br />Date: 1-17-06 <br />Item No: 8.c. <br />Staff Approval: Agenda Section: <br />C B Action <br />Item Description: Adopt 2006 Work Plan and Priority Action Steps (HF0041) <br /> <br />1.0 Requested Action <br /> <br />1.1 After discussion, adopt priority action steps for 2006. <br /> <br />1.2 Designate a subcommittee of HRA members (2 minimum and 3 maximum) to <br />complete detailed work plan based upon approved priority action steps. <br /> <br />2.0 Background <br /> <br />2.1 A draft work plan for 2006 was reviewed by the HRA in November 2005. A <br />work plan helps provide direction and focus to HRA staff and the Board for <br />program management and implementation based upon budget resources and HRA <br />goals and objectives. <br /> <br />2.2 The draft work plan is based upon the amended housing plan adopted by the HRA <br />in August of 2005 as well as budgeted resources for 2006. <br /> <br />2.3 Based upon the work plan items staff has prepared a list of priority action steps <br />for HRA consideration. In addition the work plan has been converted into a <br />detailed grid that will outline the time of completion, responsible party and <br />measurable outcomes for each item. <br /> <br />2.4 Staff is requesting that a subcommittee of the HRA assist staff in the completion <br />of the detailed work plan and be responsible for monitoring its progress on a <br />quarterly basis.
