2003-2007 Strategic Plan Central Community Housing Trust (CCHT) was formed in 1986 by a group of citizens responding to the d e mol i tion of 350 housing units in d o wntown Minnea p ol is. Since then, CCHT ha s gr own to be one of the largest and most respected nonprofit providers of affordable housing in the State of Minnesota. This strategic plan merges CCHT’s strengths with the Twin Cities community’s gr eatest needs. The goals and strategies outlined in this plan will enable CCHT to expand its geographic re ach, increase its impact, and take significant steps towards its founding vi sion of ensuring a quality home for everyone. Mission and values CCHT’s mission is to create and sustain quality affordable housing that strengthens lives and communities. Its values are: • Community: Collaborate in the design of vibrant, healthy neighborhoods. • Trust: Develop strong, effective relationships. • Diversity: Build an inclusive organization and community. • Excellence: Set and achieve high quality goals and standards. • Sustainability: Ensure properties are lo ng-term community assets. • Leadership: Advance positive community change. Goals and strategies CCHT will use the following goals and strategies to achieve its mission. Community Relations Goal: Increase visibility and broaden community support for long-term stability and success.
