<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2003-2007 Strategic Plan <br />Central Community Housing Trust (CCHT) was formed in 1986 by a group of citizens responding to the <br />d e mol i tion of 350 housing units in d o wntown Minnea p ol is. Since then, CCHT ha s gr own to be one of the <br />largest and most respected nonprofit providers of affordable housing in the State of Minnesota. <br />This strategic plan merges CCHT’s strengths with the Twin Cities community’s gr eatest needs. The goals <br />and strategies outlined in this plan will enable CCHT to expand its geographic re ach, increase its impact, <br />and take significant steps towards its founding vi sion of ensuring a quality home for everyone. <br />Mission and values <br />CCHT’s mission is to create and sustain quality affordable housing that strengthens lives and communities. <br />Its values are: <br />• Community: Collaborate in the design of vibrant, healthy neighborhoods. <br />• Trust: Develop strong, effective relationships. <br />• Diversity: Build an inclusive organization and community. <br />• Excellence: Set and achieve high quality goals and standards. <br />• Sustainability: Ensure properties are lo ng-term community assets. <br />• Leadership: Advance positive community change. <br />Goals and strategies <br />CCHT will use the following goals and strategies to achieve its mission. <br />Community Relations <br />Goal: Increase visibility and broaden community support for long-term stability and success. <br />Strategies: <br />• Increase the base of individual support thro ugh a strategic “Building Dreams” initiative. <br />• Significantly increase public awarene ss of CCHT’s mission, values, and impact. <br />• Develop and maintain effective neighbor hood and community relationships. <br />• Develop new opportunities for members of the commu nity to actively learn about and engage in <br />the work of CCHT. <br />• Cultivate new and innovative sources of fund ing in the local and national corporate and <br />foundation communities. <br />1625 Park Avenue, M i nneapolis, M i nnesota 55404 • 612-341-3148 • FAX 612-341-4208 • www.ccht.org
