Everyone took turns providing a self- <br />introduction. <br /> <br />Corrections to July 7, 2006 notes: 1) Paul Br adley was not in attendance. 2) Angie Fleming, <br />not Michelle Bonine, agreed report on the Burnsville Rental Licensing Program presentation. <br /> <br />Public Comment <br />• No one attended the meeting to deliver public comment. Ms. Paul attended as an observer. <br />• Cathy reported receiving one email from a re sident. This person reported observing the <br />conversion of single-family, owner-occupied housing to rental housing in their <br />neighborhood in recent years. The neighbor hood is experiencing increased problems with <br />parking, overcrowding in houses, and noise. <br />• The resident noted that her neighborhood ha s an active block club and she offered to <br />organize a neighborhood meeting to discuss hous ing issues with the CAG if the CAG is <br />interested. The group acknowledged the offer, but agreed that it would be more productive <br />to participate in such a meeting after the group has a better sense of what it would like to get <br />feedback on. <br /> <br />Data on Housing Ownership & Rental Mix <br />• Cathy distributed two handouts with data on th e mix of ownership and rental housing in <br />Roseville in March 2005 and June 2006. Disc ussion about the change in mix between 2005 <br />and 2006 was made difficult because it appear ed as though there we re changes in the <br />classification of housing types and there was continued uncer tainty about the use of non- <br />homestead data as surrogate data for rental property. <br />• The group asked Cathy to verify trend data and to include data from 2003 and 2004, if <br />possible. It was also recommended to pu ll out institutional housing from the rental
