This critically important task will yield a substantially higher quality result because of the following recommendations noted above: Broader and more inclusive Subcommittee topics and membership due to the Supplemental Brainstorming sessions * A clearer sense of interconnections by creating Collaborations to hear from the county, school district, and others 8 Deeper ideas and insights due to Supplemental Input opportunities to Subcommittee deliberations Compile Final Report The results of the Visioning initiative contained in this final report will r., - i I i 1 ! ! I, A more thorough understanding and appreciation of the -. interrelationships of the various topics, goals, action steps, and timelines by having the Subcommittee co -chairs and Steering Committee members meet at least twice over the course of this project Greater consistency and compatibility of the draft documents due to the report guidelines and templates provided Based on the draft Subcommittee reports containing agreed -upon goals, measurable action items, and timelines, we will compile a thoughtful and coherent final draft report for the Steering Committee's review. We will present this in writing as well as in a brief presentation, and will then make their final changes and prepare the final Visioning 2006 report and presentation for the Council.
