<br />NOTICL Ol:i' HhAlUNG <br />ON STORM DAAI..'1AGE IMPROVBMhNT NO. 68-ll <br />OF THE; VILlAGE OF KOSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEi~BY GIVEN that the Council of the Village of <br />Roseville,Minnesota, will meet at the Village Council Chambers, <br />270l North Lexington Avenue, on the 28th day of october, 1968, at <br />7:30 o'clock p.m., to hold a public hearing pursuant to Minnesota <br />statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, on proposed Storm Drainage <br />Improvement No. 68-llto~be located generally in that area <br />bounded by Roselawn Avenue on the south, Prior Avenue on the <br />west, Fairview Avenue on the east, and County ~~ad B-2 on the <br />north, consisting of firstly the relocation and encasement of <br />County Ditch No. 4 fram Fairview Avenue westerly and southerly <br />to County Road B, together with a system of collecting and <br />outlet stor.m sewers to serve the aforedescribed area. Incorporated <br />into the proposed improvement is the utilization of the existing <br />storm sewer system located on Fairview Junior nigh School building <br />site. Also proposed to be served by the proposed improvement <br />would be an area of approximately 20 acres within the Village <br />of Falcon Heights and abutting Roseville along Koselawn Avenue <br />from Fairview Avenue to Prior Avenue. The ultimate discharge <br />of the storm water will be into recently improved county Ditch <br />No. 4 easterly and northerly of the proposed improvement with <br />ultimate discharge into Lake Johanna. The foregoing is all <br />substantially in accordance with a preliminary engineering <br />report which is now on file and open to public inspection in <br />the office of the Village Manager. <br /> <br />The cost of the improvement is presently estimated at <br />approximately $494,200. The area proposed to be assessed for <br />the improvement shall be all that part of Sections 9 and l6 <br />included within the following described limits: <br /> <br />Commencing at the SE corner of the NW 1/4 <br />of Section 16, T. 29, K. 23, said corner <br />also being the intersection of Fairview <br />Avenue and Roselawn Avenue1 thence westerly <br />along the south line of said NW 1/4 a distance <br />of 1970.58 feet1 thence northly approximately <br />1180 feet to the SE corner of Lot 1, Block l, <br />Martens Addition, Koseville1Minnesota1 thence <br />westerly along the south lines of Lots 1 and <br />
