City of Roseville - Housing & Redevelopment Authority Meeting Minutes for June 17, 20...Page 5 of 5 <br />support to continuously apply for grants/outside funding. <br />Chair Majerus suggested establishing study groups including: <br />1.Finance/Funding (Members Kelsey and Boldt and Chair Majerus): Member Millasovich <br />suggested gathering information and evaluating programs. Member Millasovich cautioned <br />to evaluate the timing of the funding programs <br />2.Communications (Members Marks, Jenson, Chair Majerus): Rambler Redesign program <br />should have improved communications. How does the HRA communicate to the <br />neighbors and work with the Parks & Recreation to evaluate a Stellar Home program. <br />This committee should meet with the Parks & Recreation subcommittee on the Stellar <br />Home Program. <br />3.Code Compliance (Members Millasovich, Scheunemann, Chair Majerus): Is there a role <br />for the HRA in maintenance and/or updating of property or rental properties. <br />4.Work Force Housing (Members Kelsey, Marks, Chair Majerus). <br />Member Millasovich suggested evaluation of current adopted goals and set realistic time frames <br />for accomplishments. Chair Majerus said study groups can help expedite the goals of HRA <br />during the next year. <br />Member Scheunemann asked if staff had used web grant information. Member Scheunemann <br />asked if Code compliance includes ability to enter housing and rental inspection. <br />Chair Majerus noted the Chair will serve on all subcommittees and act as the coordinator of/and <br />sharer of information between subcommittees. <br />Executive Director Report <br />10. <br />Executive Director Cathy Bennett explained the HRA Board Member Survey – Data Practices <br />Requirement and the Ramsey County Home Ownership Training funding and counseling.
