The project includes u-atermain installation, storm sewer <br />construction, sanitary sewer repair3, aa~d street reconstruction. <br />Bids will be received and opened on April 20, 1445 with council <br />consideration of the bid results at the May 1, 1995 Council }lasting. <br />It is expected that construction will start in mice- to late-May and <br />continue through August. <br />Street Renewal Project <br />Shoreview City Council has awarded the Contract to reconstruct <br />Churchill Street, Amble Drive a.nd Churchill Plate to Central <br />landscapiaxg, Inc, at the April 17, 1995 Cou»til Meeting_ It is <br />expected that this project will start fn mid- to .late-May and <br />continue through July. <br />GTamsie Road RECORStructlan <br />The City of Shoreview is near completion of the reconstruction of <br />Gramsie itoad, liackubin street, and Suzanne Avenue. Items left to be <br />completed this spring include landscapir~g4 se~edin~, sodding and the <br />final lift of bituminous on Gramsie Road east of Ma~ckubin Street. <br />Snail Lake Open Space Trail <br />The City has been notified that the 1JSD0'Z has approved tic use of <br />federal funds fox the Snail Lake Qpen Space Trail. This project <br />includes the construction of a trail between the Shoreview Comnyunity <br />Center and the nortih end of Rei~.and Lane. An underpass will he <br />constructed to allow for safe crossing of pedestrian and bftycle <br />traffic across Highway 96. Staff has begun work on the Project <br />Memorandum that is required to be approved by the USDOT prior tp <br />start of preparation of plans and specification. Notification to <br />the appropriate agencies {DNR, ~tamsey County, nPGA...) has also been <br />started as required fn the Project Memorandum. <br />
