OCT-20-1995 10 36 CITY OF SHOREUIE~J P.03i03 <br />City staff continues to collect data and prepare preliminary plans for the reconstruction of Victoria <br />Street, between Counnty Road F and Lexington Avenue. This roadway, currently a County Road, is <br />Ming tanned over to Shoreview as part of the Ramsey County Functional Consolidation Plan, where <br />responsibility for selected roadways are boring transferred between the State, the County az~d various <br />Cities, <br />The proposed improvements will include repaving with concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage, <br />retaining walls, landscaping and minor water and sewer repairs. The project should also include the <br />installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Victoria Street with Lexington Avenue, an <br />impPOvement which has been identified and programmed already by Ramsey County Public Works. <br />'This project is scheduled for construction in the spring of 1996. <br />L P T <br />The final Project ernorandurn is being completed, and wetland impact application will be made to <br />the various agencies. ~`he project, which includes an u~lerpass at County Road 96, was originally <br />approved for funding for construction in 1996, however, Shoreview will is asking the Metropolitan <br />Council to recognize the project as part of the County Road 96 reconstruction project which should <br />occur in 1997. <br />TOTAL P. 03 <br />
