The drill <br />may be used for anything from planting prairie <br />grasses, interseeding alfalfa and renovating pas- <br />tures; to no-tilling soybeans. <br />This drill is very versatile and allows very good <br />seed placement in almost any conditions including <br />conventional or no-till. It is a pull type drill with an <br />8-foot planting width and three separate boxes for <br />accurate seeding rates. Equipment required to run <br />the drill. includes a tractor with a minimum of ~0 <br />horsepower and double hydraulic hookups. <br />The best time to plant cool season grasses will <br />be between April 1 and June 1~. If a praire restora- <br />tion is onthe agenda, planting should be planned for <br />between l~iay 1~ and the end of June.
