I enjoyed discussing the proposed project with you over the phone, and azn excited about the possibility of including the Grass Lake WMO as a partner. MCEA received funding from the Metropolitan Council in 1995 to implement a similar project in the Mannehaha Creek Watershed District, which has been very successful. The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District Board has been a supportive parrner in that project. Additional information about the project and MCEA is attached. If you axe intezested in being a partner, it would be helpful to have a lettez of support to include in our grant application. In your letter, you can mention how this project might enhance the watershed, and how at fats with Grass Lake WMO's plans.
