New developments/projects within Roseville affecting the GLWMO: <br />a. School District Redevelopment -Owasso/Western/Dale <br />As summer nears, home construction in this new development is preceding at a <br />fast pace. The developer has a few difficulties controlling erosion in areas where <br />a vegetative cover had not been established last fall. These areas have been <br />repaired and re-seeded. A larger problem has been controlling the amount of dirt.. <br />and mud in the street deposited by the homebuilders. After numerous attempts to <br />get the developer to clean the streets, Roseville. is sweeping the streets and billing <br />the developer for work. It is expected that home construction will continue over <br />the next two to three years. This summer, a sidewalk will be built along the main <br />roadway and the final lift of asphalt will be placed. <br />b. Kettler Development -County Road C/Dale Street <br />This development consists of the construction of two short public cul-de-sacs to <br />serve new townhomes at the southwest corner of County Road C and Dale Street. <br />The approved plan includes two NURP stormwater basins to address both water <br />quality and. water quantity issues. Roadway and utility construction began in mid- <br />April. Plans include provisions for erosion control. <br />c. Acorn Park regrading <br />As part of Roseville's park improvement program, a large portion of Acorn Park <br />will be redeveloped. This redevelopment includes site regarding, construction of <br />new bituminous and boardwalk trails, new parking facilities, and a new ball field. <br />Acorn Park is located between Rice Street and Western Avenue, south of County <br />Road C. Work will resume in May, 1996, and be completed by Late fall. A11 <br />construction plans include provisions for erosion control. <br />
