New developments/projects within Shoreview affecting the GLWMO: <br />a. Victoria Street Reconstruction <br />Reconstruction of Victoria Street, from County Road F to Lexington Avenue is <br />approximately 40 percent complete. The project includes widening, repaving, <br />concrete curb and gutter, and minor sewer and water repair. Construction should <br />be complete. by Halloween. <br />b. <br />c. <br />Shoreview Woods Development <br />Shoreview Woods is a proposed 11-acre development located on the shore of <br />Snail Lake. The conceptual plan, which addresses wetland delineation and <br />erosion, has been approved and the .developer intends to submit a final plan for <br />review in August. <br />Waste Oil Facility <br />The waste oil facility is located in the Rice Creek Watershed District, a couple <br />hundred feet from the Grass Lake;'Rice Creek Watershed boundary. A small <br />amount of contaminated soil was encountered when replacing the tank. Further <br />testing did not identify any significant amount of contamination and no impacts to <br />the Grass Lake Watershed are anticipated. The contaminated soil has been. <br />removed from the site and is being treated through bioremedation in Wisconsin. <br />d. I-694 Pedestrian Bridge and Overpass <br />The project is located approximately 2,000 feet west of Trunk Highway 49, <br />adjacent to the wzsiernmost Soo Line Railroad Bridge. The project consists of <br />~~0 linear feet of bituminous path, abutments, one pier, and a ?50-foot bridge. <br />deck. Plans and specifications for the pedestrian bridge are now complete and <br />have been Reviewed Ramse;~ County and MnDOT. Award of a =construction <br />project is expected prior to September .~0, 1996. <br />
