r r <br />e. Ramsey County Trail <br />Ramsey County has started construction of a 10-foot bituminous trail extending <br />from Snail Lake Boulevard southward. to a point just west of County Road F. It <br />appears that existing wetlands will be impacted by the construction of the trail, <br />and a wetland is being constructed on the south side of Gramsie Road as <br />mitigation for the path impacts. Construction of the path and the mitigation <br />wetland will take place over atwo-year period.. Shoreview City staff is reviewing <br />the County's .1994 mitigation plan to ensure compliance with the Wetland <br />Conservation Act. <br />f. County Highway 96 <br />Ramsey ..County has hired an engineering consultant to prepare final, detailed <br />plans and specifications for the l 997 reconstruction of the first segment of <br />Highway 96, from Lexington Avenue to Dale Street. A wetland inventory has <br />been prepared, and the development'of final construction plans will address storm <br />drainage in the highway corridor.. It is anticipated that. final plans will be <br />..presented. to Shoreview for approval later this fall, with bidding this winter. <br />2. New developments/projects within Roseville affecting the GLWMO: <br />a. Attached. is a memo from Karl Keel describing the new developments and projects . <br />that affect the GLWMO. <br />
