By using local resources and building on community watershed effons, you can help young people <br />understand the connection between people's actions, community decisions, and environmental quality. <br />What will I Learn? <br />Video conference activities will help you: <br />• Identify community water education goals. <br />• Integrate local water issues into youth programs. <br />• Locate and choose appropriate curriculum materials. <br />• Facilitate team building for community education planning. <br />• Measure the success of a program. <br />What's my role? <br />As a participant, you will have the opportunity to interact with panel members, plan and evaluate your <br />own local program, and share ideas with your group. To help, with the planning process, your facilitator <br />will supply the booklet, "Educating Young People About Water: A Guide to Program Planning and <br />Evaluation." <br />Who should attend? <br />Educators, natural resource managers, youth leaders, and watershed planning teams are invited to <br />pazticipate.
