Site or area is identified in <br />local water plan, or is receiving some funding from local partners, private and public. <br />Partnerships <br />- High -public anal private entities involved with project (i.e. cost-shared projects) <br />- Medium or low -private-only submittals -ranking will depend upon entities involved <br />and resulting ownership (see below) <br />Qwnershin <br />- Highest -Public ownership/acquisition. <br />- Medium -Easement acquisition. <br />- Low -Deed restriction on private property (must provide for adequate access for <br />maintenance purposes) <br />Watershed context -higher priority for projects coordinated with a larger watershed <br />management effort. <br />~lcliacent assets -higher priority for parcels adjacent to major wetland complexes, lakes, <br />rivers. <br />A~umber of basins to acreage ratio and wetland complexes <br />- Generally, higher priority for proposals that restore a number of smaller basins rather <br />than one or two large basins. <br />- Highest priority will be placed on those projects which will restore (first priority) or <br />create (second priority) a variety of wetland types, especially types l .and 2 where <br />there have been significant losses. <br />~Q.g_rayhic distribution -overall geographic distribution in these critical areas will be a <br />consideration to meet program requirements. <br />PrQj~Ct per acre costs <br />- High -most New Wetland Credit (NWC) compared to project cost <br />- Medium -combination of NWC and Public Value Credite (PVC) resulting <br />- Low -PVC only resulting <br />~pjgct maintenance/SustainabilitY -projects that have minimal long term. maintenance <br />needs will be higher priority.
