Item Description: Staff reports on pending matters ~ ~ ::
Page 2
d. Shoreview Woods
Staff and consultants continue to inspect the 22-unit residential development. The
erosion control facilities performed well during .the recent storms. Only one minor break
in the Gilt fence allowed sediment to leave the project site. The. sediment was recovered
and corrections were made. The developer/contractors have generally been very
responsive to issues regarding erosion control and neighborhood concerns.
e. I-694 Pedestrian And Bicycle Overpass
The bridge deck has been completed and the bridge has been painted. Fencing at the
approaches is nearly completed and the fencing on the bridge is beginning. It is probable
.that the project will be essentially complete and open to pedestrian traffic by the end of
July. Staff is also working with our consultant and MN/DOT to complete a supplemental
trail connection under the railroad bridge as approved by the Council. Plans have been
completed and tentatively approved at MN/DOT. Negotiations for costs with the
contractor have begun and the consultant is working with MN/DOT and the Railroad on
notifications.. This process is anticipated to be completed in next two weeks with
construction to follow shortly after that.
2. .New developments/projects within Roseville affecting the GLWMO:
Attached is Karl Keel's report on pending matters.
