Bennett Lake Overflow. Earlier, we reported that the City planned to construct a gravity <br />overflow from Bennett Lake west of Victoria Street to the American Legion ponds east of <br />Victoria Street. Historically, Bennett Lake was drained via a pump operated by the City of <br />Roseville. The gravity overflow has been installed and is operating properly. The pipe and <br />control structure have allowed Bennett Lake to drain without causing any flooding problems <br />east of Victoria. Street.. Over time, the pipe should result in considerable savings when <br />compared to the operation and maintenance of the pump. <br />
