RESOLUTION NO. 422 EXTRI\CT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILIJI GE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF m SEVILLE COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF llINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, ltaffisey County, Minnesota, was duly held in the Village Hall at 2701 North Lexington Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota on Friday, the 3rd day of March, 1961, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Flanagan, Shields and Reinecke and the following were absent: McGee Trustee Flannagan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Resolution N~ 422 RESGL1JTION RELATING TO VACATING OF CERTAIN STREETS BE IT l1ESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, as follows: WHER&~S, the petition dated January 23, 1961, of a majority of the owners of real property abutting upon the streets hereinafter mentioned, requesting the Village Counc~l to vacate the said streets accoring to law, was duly filed with the Village Council, and said Council met on February 24, 1961, at 8:00 P.M. in the place specified in a notice duty published and posted as required by law and hera all interested persons; and "WHEREAS, the hearing was continued until the next meeting of the Council, on March 3, 1961, at 8:00 P.M.; and "WHEREAS, it appears that it will be for the interest of the public that said streets be vacated: NOIoJ', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, as follows: 1. That the following streets in the village of Roseville, as the same are now dedicated and laid out, be and the same hereby are vacated and discontinued as public streets: 1. Arona Street from Ryan Avenue to Skillman Ave. 2. Skillman Avenue from Snelling Drive to a point 50 feet west of the center line of Asbury Street
