BWSR Meeting Minutes <br />October 29, 1998 <br />Page Seven <br />Ginny Imholte invited board members to attend the MAWD annual meeting, December <br />3-5, at the Radisson Arrowwood in Alexandria. Chair Roer asked board members to <br />contact Mary Jo Anderson if they plan to attend the AMC annual meeting, November 30 <br />-December 2, at the St. Cloud Civic Center in St. Cloud, and the MASWCD annual <br />meeting, December 6-8, at the Radisson South in Bloomington. <br />Advisory Comments <br />Kevin Scheidecker reported that he's stepping down as MACDE director. He stated <br />that's always been nice to work with BWSR, staff have always been there. He thanked <br />Jim Birkholz for always attending the MACDE meetings. <br />Chair Roer stated that the next BWSR meeting will be held on December 16 in St. Paul. <br />Jim Birkholz addressed staffing transitions in the metro region. Bruce Sandstrom has <br />transferred from the metro region supervisor to the wetland banking coordinator, <br />effective October 28. Matt Moore has been promoted to the LARS position; Char <br />Sokatch has taken a promotion to RIM easement processor. Jim stated that for the <br />immediate future Phil Belf~ori and Doc Snyder will cover vacant board conservationist <br />areas. Jim stated that he will work closely with the metro region. Anew hiring list for <br />the board conservationist has been opened. Jim asked board members to contact him <br />if they know of good applicant for the regional supervisor position. <br />Chair Roer adjourned the meeting at 12:10 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kathleen Roer, chair <br />
