January 28, 1999 GLWMO Meeting Minutes <br />Page 2 <br />A-4 Approval of 1999 GLWMO Meeting Dates and Location <br />The Board will meet quarterly on the fourth Thursday of the month beginning at 5:00 p.m. at <br />the City of Roseville, tentatively set for: <br />+ January 28, 1999 <br />+ April 22, 1999 <br />+ July 22, 1999 <br />+ October 28, 1999 <br />Additional special meetings will likely be called to guide the development of the organization's <br />2°`' Generation Plan. <br />Roseville will provide the lead technical staff support for the GLWMO for 1999. <br />Landwehr moved to set 1999 GLWMO meeting dates and location of the meetings. <br />Soderbeck seconded. Ayes: 5 Nays: 0 <br />A-5 Recognition of Retiring Board Members <br />The Board recommended that staff prepare a Certificate of Appreciation for retiring Board <br />member Vikki Rensch. <br />Landwehr moved to approve the recommendation. <br />Roessler seconded. Ayes: 5 Nays: 0 <br />A-6 Staff Reports on Pending Matters: <br />Keel of Roseville reported on new and/or ongoing developments within Roseville <br />affecting the GLWMO: <br />a. 1999 Street Reconstruction Projects <br />The Board discussed proposed storm sewer retrofits and their desire to <br />maximize the treatment of stormwater prior to discharge into Lake Owasso.. <br />b. 2000 West Owasso Boulevard Reconstruction <br />r.. Prince of Peace Senior Housing Project <br />2. Maloney of Shoreview reported on new and/or ongoing developments within Sh~~review <br />affecting the GLWMO: <br />a. Cammunity Center Underpass <br />b. Hwy. 49/Chippewa School Access <br />b. Hwy. 96/Segment 3 -Lexington to Mackubin <br />The Board discussed ways to improve control over non-city projects. Concern <br />was expressed that Ramsey County did not adequately address erosion control <br />issues during construction and that Shoreview experienced difficulty influencing <br />compliance. <br />d. Brigadoon Area Street Renewal <br />
