Gvaste disposal issues, etc. that impact water <br />resources. Obtain information from MPCA. <br />6.x.2 Establish goals and policies pertaining to the protection of kev water resources. <br />6.x.3 Identify implementation initiatives (i.e.. `'contingence" basins adjacent to highwaes i~ sensitive <br />areas). <br />6.6 Public ditches. There are no public ditches in the WMO, so this topic is not applicable. <br />Task 7.0 B Implementation Strategies. This task will develop cost estimates and financing strategies for <br />implementing the activities and initiatives identified in the above «~ork tasks. <br />7.1 Develo~inplementation program which establishes the schedule, estimated cost. and financing method <br />for identified activities and initiatives. <br />7.2 Dever Plan amendment process. <br />7.3 Assist with development of revised Joint Powers A:;reement if neeessar<~ to permit implementation <br />plans. <br />Task 8.0 B Prepare Draft Plan. The review process tends to be longer and more tedious than one might <br />expect from the regulations. It will involve extensive communications to all respondents describing hove <br />comments were incorporated into the revisions. and much internal redrafting. <br />8.1 Write and Distribute Preliminary Review Draft. Assumes preparation and distribution of 30 copies of <br />review draft. <br />8.2 Administer a~ency review process (cities, cotmty, state, regional). <br />8.3 Public hearing. Assumes Barr prepares presentation materials and presents at hearing. <br />8.4 Prepare Final Review Draft. Assumes preparation and distribution of 20 copies of final review draft. <br />8.~ Administer agency review process (state. regional). <br />8.6 Prepare Final Draft for BWSR approval.
