The board <br />reviewed and commented on the information in the draft text including the following <br />comments: <br />• Show the Radio Tower site in Shoreview as Natural/Park/Open <br />• Add a "Vacant" land use designation <br />• Show Wetlands on the land use map <br />• Tabs should be provided to help organize the plan material as it is being reviewed. <br />• An Executive Summary in a resource oriented format should be provided. <br />• GLWMO should be responsible for tracking water quality trends <br />• Lake level augmentation (Snail Lake) is an aesthetic issue - not a WMO issue. <br />• All direct discharges to lakes should be identified and Cities should eliminate when <br />possible. <br />• Gene will. provide link to new DNR data (provided by e-mail 1-07-00) <br />• Shoreland buffers should be constructed when opportunities arise <br />• Maloney will locate Owasso Outlet feasibility report <br />• Shoreview and Roseville will attempt to eliminate direct discharges to Lake Owasso <br />with the future West Owasso Boulevard construction project. <br />• A hierarchy of BMPs should be developed for retrofit projects and redevelopment. <br />Soderbeck distributed the following information: <br />• Sample Erosion Control Requirement Notice for Building Permits <br />
