If you fit this <br />catory of ers we l~a~ that you <br />will .take time ~ attea~d this important <br />warkslflop. <br />~Jith tl~e ant influx of new managers <br />and the establishment of new water- <br />shed districts it is critical that all new <br />managers receive this type of back- <br />ground training on the duties and <br />au4horities of watershed districts. <br />~e are all looking forward to attending <br />this year's T~~UD Summer Tour <br />hosted by the Pelican Diver ~RTD in <br />Detroit Lakes on June 22-24th. The disap- <br />paintment is doubly hard when you <br />recall this flood reduction project was. <br />~~~~ ~~~r <br />~~~~ ~`~ ~~9 ~~ <br />~®5~~~ ~~ <br />~~~~ ~~~ <br />~$~~°~h~~ ~fl°~tit°n~ _._ <br /> <br />i~A~D is sponsoring an orientation workshop specifically geared to assist <br />watershed district managers who have been serving three years or less. This <br />orientation workshop is in respanse to the establishment of several new <br />watershed districts and the increasing turnover of managers positions across <br />the state. <br />If you are a new manager and need to become more aware of the duties and <br />powers of watershed district managers you should plan on attending this <br />important workshop on Thursday, June 22, 2000 in Detroit Lakes. The <br />workshop is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., concluding just in time to <br />register for the MAID Sumner Tour.
