June 20, 2001
Mr. Don Munson
Page 2
The City of Roseville should also require approximately half of the shoreline of lot 3 to be
maintained as a buffer containing native vegetation. The native vegetation can be maintained as a
garden and it will still provide water quality benefits and wildlife habitat that will help to protect
Lake Owasso.
Thank you for requesting additional DNR comments on the plans for lot 3, Heinel Circle. Do not
hesitate to submit other subdivision and plat ap~~cations to the DNR for review. Please feel free
to contact me at 651-772-7910 should you have questions concerning this letter or other Shoreland
Ordinance, Floodplain Ordinance, or DNR Protected Waters matters.
Sincerely,
~; ~
i+;~~~ ~ ~
~oseph Richter
Hydrologist
c: Ramsey Conservation District
Grass Lake Water Management Organization V',,~~
City of Roseville Shoreland File
