MASWCD looks to BWSR as the lead role in this partnership effort. <br />LeAnn asked for a new BWSR directory. LeAnn reported that MASWCD is host to the <br />NACD North Central Region conference, July 15-18, at the Radisson South in <br />Bloomington. <br />Minnesota Association of Watershed Districts (MAWD) -Ray Bohn invited board members to <br />attend the MAWD summer tour, June 28-30 in Worthington. MAWD legislative issues are stilt <br />pending. Ray thanked Ron Harnack and Doug Thomas for their assistance during this <br />legislative session. <br />Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) -Roger Mussetter reported that CRP is the <br />major issue now.. Minnesota and five other states have CRP sign-up starting on June 4, <br />awaiting official announcement from the USDA Secretary. There are 100,000 acres in the.
