<br />The Regular Meeting of April 3, 2002 was held at the Maplewood City Ha11,1~~Iaplewood Roam, 1830 East
<br />County Road B, Maplewood, Minnesota, at 6:30 p.m.

<br />1. CALL TO ORDER
<br />The meeting was called to order by President Lake at 6:30 p.m.
<br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
<br />Motion: Moved by Bob Johnson, seconded by Paul Ellefson, to approve the nunutes of March 6, 2002.
<br />The motion carried.
<br />3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
<br />No changes were made to the agenda as presented.
<br />4. PERMIT APPLICATIONS
<br />Amended Permit 02-02• Little Canada Office Park -Little Canada
<br />When the permit was approved in January, no wetland fill was involved, and access to the site was from
<br />Park Street. The City of Little Canada has required access to the site from Rice Street due to traffic safety
<br />issues. Staff recommends acceptance of the wetland mitigation plan in which the applicant proposes to fill
<br />2,074 square feet of wetland, create 2,600 square feet of new wetland, and create 5,980 square feet of
<br />wetland buffer.
<br />Motion: Bob Johnson moved, Paul Ellefson seconded, to approve Amended Permit #02-02 anal the
<br />associated wetland mitigation plan. Motion carried.
<br />Permit 02-08• Maplewood Industrial Park Building _ Maplewood
<br />District staff have worked with the applicant to reduce wetland impact as much as possible, and they
<br />recommend acceptance of the wetland mitigation plan that proposes 2,858 square feet of wetland fill,
<br />creation of 8,82.0 square feet of new wetland, and creation of 3,788 square feet of wetland buffer.
<br />Motion: Paul Ellefson moved, Roger Lake seconded, to approve Permit #02-08 and the associated wetland
<br />mitigation plan. Motion carried.
