CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order by President Lake at 7:30 p.m. <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Motion: Moved by Bob Johnson, seconded by Pam Skinner, to approve the minutes of April 3, 2002. The <br />motion carried. <br />3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />No changes were made to the agenda as presented. <br />4. PERMIT APPLICATIONS <br />Permit 02-20• Northeast Industrial III -White Bear Lake <br />Motion: Bob Johnson moved, Roger Lake seconded, to approve Pernut #02-20. Motion carried. <br />Permit 02-21; English Street Improvements -Maplewood <br />Motion: Roger Lake moved, Bob Johnson seconded, to approve Permit #02-21. Motion carried. <br />Permit 02-23; St. Paul Hmong Alliance Church -Maplewood <br />Discussion vas held on Special Provision No. 2 (requiring the low floor elevation of surrounding buildings <br />to be a minimum of five feet above the 100-year flood elevation of the land-locked pond) and the <br />possibility of risk to downstream structures in the event that the pond would overflow. <br />Motion: Roger Lake moved, Jack Frost seconded, to approve Permit #02-23, and to require staff to work <br />with the city and the developer to assure protection to downstream areas before the District permit is <br />issued. Motion carried. <br />Permit 02-24; Woodlake Medical Building - WoodburX <br />The Manage 2 wetland in the northeast corner of the project will not be impacted due to the maintenance of <br />an average 25-ft no-disturb buffer around the wetland. <br />
