Motion: Roger Lake moved, Bob Johnson seconded, to authorize the execution of the joint powers agreement <br />between the City of Woodbury and the Watershed District to provide for the joint construction of Weir Drive <br />improvements and related facilities. Motion carved. <br />Karl Hammers Resi ng ation <br />The Board conveyed their best wishes to Karl Hammers, whose last day as District Technician will be June 14. <br />Cliff will be advertising the vacancy immediately in order to hire a replacement as soon as possible. <br />7. TREASURERS REPORT AND BILL LIST <br />Motion: Jack Frost moved, Bob Johnson seconded, to approve the Bill List and also the Supplemental Bill List <br />for June 5, 2002. Motion carried. <br />8. SPECIAL ORDERS <br />Well Sealing Resolution No. 02-OS <br />Motion: Roger Lake moved, Bob Johnson seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 02-OS to approve cost share <br />funding for nine well sealing program applications. Motion carried. <br />Budget Transfer for Weir Drive Capital Improvement Project <br />Motion: Roger Lake moved, Jack Frost seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 02-06 to authorize the transfer of <br />$256,000 from the Capital Improvements Contingency Fund to the West Tamarack Swamp Improvements CIB <br />Fund to meet funding shortfalls resulting from project scope and design changes. Motion carried. <br />Budget Transfer for Kohlman Basin Project <br />Motion: Bob Johnson moved, Jack Frost seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 02-07 to authorize the transfer of <br />$316,980.62 from the Phalen Water Quality Fund to the Kohlman Basin Project Fund to meet funding shortfalls <br />resulting from project scope and design. changes, and to authorize the closing of the Kohlman Basin Project CIB <br />Fund Account. Motion carried. <br />9. MANAGER PRESENTATIONS <br />Reschedulin og f July Meeting <br />Due to the upcoming holiday, the next meeting was rescheduled to July 10, 2002, at 7:30 p.m. <br />Jack Frost reported on a Met Council erosion control team meeting he attended in Dakota County where he <br />learned of the use of a natural polymer that is derived from crushed shrimp shells. Cliff remarked that this <br />product is actually being tested at the District's PFS site in Woodbury at this time. It was also noted that <br />polyacrylamide standards are being developed, and more information can be found at the following website: <br />naturalsitesolutions.com. <br />10.
