parallel to I-694 within Mn/DOT R/W would require an exemption to Mn/DOT's policy.
Maintenance access manholes should be located outside of Mn/DOT R/W. There was
some discussion of improved technology for pipe repair from inside the pipe. The pipe
alignment should. include a crossing of I-694 within the `unweave' project limits to
eliminate high pipe jacking costs. Mn/DOT will consider the feasibility of revising the
project limits if required by the pipe alignment identified during. engineering. Running
the pipe along Country Drive, outside of Mn/DOT R/W should be considered.
6. Cost-sharing for the project was discussed. The County and St. Paul Regional Water
will commit to the cost of engineering services. The discussion of benefited partners will
continue as construction costs are identified.
Notes by Terry Noonan
\projects\W. Vadnais 2
