CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order by President Lake at 6:30 p.m. <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Roger Lake asked why the minutes refer to MnDNR as the permitting agency for the alum treatment facility <br />(Page 3, paragraph 5) instead of MPCA. Cliff Aichinger clarified that MPCA is responsible for setting the <br />discharge standards but is not the permitting agency. <br />Motion: Moved by Bob Johnson, seconded by Roger Lake, to approve the minutes of the January 8, 2003, <br />regular meeting. The motion carried. <br />3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />No changes were made to the agenda as mailed out. <br />4. PERMIT APPLICATIONS <br />Permit 03-06; Weaver Elementary School Phase 2 -Maplewood <br />The applicant is proposing to regrade the parking lot and ball frelds with no increase in impervious area. <br />Motion: Paul Ellefson moved, seconded by Bob Johnson, to approve Permit #03-06. Motion carried. <br />Permit 03-07; RWMWD Capital Improvement Projects 2003 -Various Cities <br />The nine sites scheduled for maintenance and/or repair were reviewed by the Board on November 6, 2002. <br />Motion: Jack Frost moved, Bob Johnson seconded, to approve Permit #03-07. Motion carried. <br />Permit 03-08; Schmelz Countryside VW Expansion -Maplewood <br />The applicant is proposing to expand their parking lot. A stormwater pond will be constructed on-site, which <br />will also treat runoff from the adjacent Embers restaurant. <br />Motion: Paul Ellefson moved, Jack Frost seconded, to approve Permit #03-08. Motion carried. <br />
