Task 9: r®ject anagernent
Expected Cost: $5,160
Project management consists of administrative activities associated with the project,
including Barr-GLWMO correspondence; communications between Barr, RCPW, and
RWMWD technical staffs; project team meetings; invoicing; laboratory coordination; etc.
Task ~0: C®nduct Lake user Su~ey
Expected Cost: $9,520
At the onset of any UAA process, it is important to get stakeholder input on the beneficial
use (water quality) goals that have been set for their lake. Barr will help the WMO create
a questionnaire that will be delivered to lake residents and/or other relevant stakeholders.
It is assumed that the member cities will supply mailing lists. The goal the survey is to
collect public input on desired beneficial uses of the lake and water quality perceptions.
This feedback, which will be summarized by Barr, can help the WMO decide whether the
existing water quality goals for the lakes are still appropriate or if they should be changed
in light of public opinion.
In addition to the lake user survey, Barr will suxmuarize and prepare a figure illustrating
historic BMPs and implementation date, assuming the Cities will provide BMP locations
and construction dates. Barr will also summarize and prepare a figure illustrating all
public and private direct inflows to Lake Owasso, assuming the Cities and lake
association will perform all necessary field work to collect the inflow location.
verall r®ject Schedule
Barr is available to begin work on this project immediately upon authorization by the
WMO. We will complete this project as quickly as possible, and plan to be substantially
done by the end of 2007.
P:\wr\I3\prp\2006\6069 -Lake Owasso\Lake_Owasso_UAA_Scope_Final_Jan 12 07.doc
