We are a
Minnesota/Wisconsin based company that is solving a lot of the problems with our great waterways. I'm
writing this letter to inform people about a better solution than rock and coconut coir currently being used
on our shorelines and waterways.
ShoreSox is a biodegradable, erosion control system designed to promote natural growth
for protection and restoration of shorelines, wetlands, and waterways. It is the only fully contained
system that encompasses locally grown cornstalk fiber with natural burlap and photodegradable protective
mesh. ShoreSox is noninvasive; we cause no disturbance to the surrounding environment or ecosystem.
This product also has an approximate 4-year degrade time, which is critical for establishing new
vegetation, and it is essential to growing adequate buffer zones.
ShoreSox, LLC is supported by eight years of research. We have rigorously followed any requirements
and guidelines in the permit process from DNR, Fish, Game and Wildlife, Land and Soil, as well as any
local zoning ordinances. In degradability, anchoring, and cost effectiveness, ShoreSox has proven to be
the best product available in shoreline reestablishment and in hillside slope management. By using this
product, we can ensure the health and quality of Minnesota's beautiful waters.
Please consider ShoreSox as the better alternative to current erosion control and restoration techniques,
and help us to spread awareness of this product. If you are interested in addressing your erosion control
needs, I would be more than happy to come out and introduce the product. Please call us to set up a
meeting; we look forward to working with you. Visit us at our website at www.shoresox.com, or call us at
1-866-232-7336 or 320-274-2928, for more information. Let us help you to restore the Earth as nature
intended, one foot at a time.
Thank you,
T --~ ~r,,v v-~
_~
Bruce Prevost
Director of Operations, ShoreSox, LLC
