GRASS.LAKE WATER MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />AGENDA ITEM <br />Date: 04/26/07 Prepared by; Mark Maloney Item: D-1 <br />Other Business <br />Item Description: Green Community Awards Program <br />Shoreview's Environmental Quality Committee is administeringthe Shoreview Green .Community <br />Awards Program to recognize residential properties in the area for demonstration of water quality BMPs. <br />Attached are the informational brochure and application form for the awards program. <br />The program is receiving volunteer support from tlYe North Star Chapter of the Siena Club, in-kind <br />donation from the. Minnesota DNR, and financial support from the Ramsey Conservation District, Rice <br />Creek Watershed District, and the City of Shoreview. The Shoreview Environmental Quality Committee <br />is requesting $1,000 support from. the Grass Lake Water Management Organization to apply toward their <br />approximate $4,000 budget. <br />
