Minnesota D~~~,~i•tmenx~~of Natural Resources (DNR) <br />.~~ ~~~ <br />Lx~hirt~an askec~~hat precipitated the letter to the Minnesota Department of <br />Natui~il,Resources (DNR) for the Snail Lake augmentation amendment. <br />Aichm~er~explained that the letter is a request for a change in the water level in <br />regard tp the Snail Lake augmentation program. The permit is meant to address <br />the lake level through augmentation. <br />Root noted that this amendment would raise the water level from 881.5 in 1994, <br />to 882.7. Schwartz stated that if the water level is above 881.5, no intervention is <br />needed. <br />
