Brian is charged with working on the creation of an HRA logo and the production of
a housing redesign book to be completed over the summer months. Brian presented a series of
HRA logo options for the HRA’s consideration. He explained his logo goals to portray the HRA
as a positive association with an easily identifiable logo that has ease of reproduction in size and
color. He researched other City and HRA logos as well as reviewed the goals of the Roseville
HRA. He presented five examples and asked for opinions.

Member Bean would like to make sure that Roseville is listed in the title under the logo symbol.

Member Kelsey concurred with Member Bean. She noted that the R ”Rose graphic” in the HRA
logo was confusing and would like to see that symbol moved elsewhere in the logo.

Member Hermes explained equal opportunity symbol and suggested adding it to the logo to
portray that the programs of the HRA are for all regarding of age, race, sex, etc. She also
preferred not to show the people in the logo that may send a wrong message to some.

Chair Millasovich agreed with adding that symbol and concurred with its imporantance to the
goals of the HRA.

Member Marks likes the people portrayed in the logo but agreed that the “Rose” symbol was
confusing“.
