Proposal -Sampling Monitoring Wells-Woodbridge Neighborhood Porous Pavement, Shoreview
RCD's current in-kind involvement:
Thus far, the RCD has already contributed the following in-kind services to the project.:
Approximate Cost (RCD
Task In-kind Services
Planning session with the City and the MDH for placement; $150
installation, and sam lin of wells
Site visit with the Ci to select exact well locations $75
Two days of well installation su ervision $1,200
Site visit to measure the depth to groundwater in the four $75
wells/ iezometers
Sampling and Analysis Plan stipulating sampling frequency, X150
rocedures, and chemical analyses
TOTAL: $1,650
Ramsey Conservation District, Minnesota Department of Health, and Ramsey County-
EnvironmentaI Services have offered to contribute in-kind services to this project. The MDH
will be contributing laboratory analytical. services as well as use of their submersible pumps for
the sampling. Ramsey County-Environmental Services will contribute the RCD's use of a water
quality testing field instrument during sampling events (4 events, approximate in-kind value
$150/event, total $b00}. This proposal covers RCD's further project participation.
RCD's proposed future tasks:
The next steps will involve th.e following:
1. rivo sampling events prior to porous pavement installation,
2. two semi-annual (twice a year) sampling events after pavement installation,
3. installation of two Troll pressure transducers in wells to monitor groundwater elevation,
4, installation of an automated rain gauge and data logger in the neighborhood to record
precipitation, and
organization of data in an annual report to the City.
x:\groundwater\shoreview\woodbridge-Ik Owasso-moult wells-pictures\praposal-grass lake wmo-Woodbridge mw sampfing.docx
