EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF VILLAGE COUNCIL OF VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA - FEBRUARY 24, 1969 The Village Council of the Village of Rosevil1e duly met in regular session .at the Village Hall on Monday, February 24, 1969, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Moll, Councilmen Curley, Linebarger and Grauel and the following was absent: Councilman Shields Councilman Grauel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 5051 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ENGINEER~S PRELIMINARY REPORT AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-68-36 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Council has heretofore directed the Village Public Works Director to prepare a preliminary report as to the feasibility of the proposed improvement generally in the area of Rice Street from north McCarrons Boulevard to north of Elmer Street consisting of the installation of sanitary sewer. The Council also directed the Public Works Director to determine the estimated cost of the improvement and whether such improvement should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement. The preliminary report and cost have been submitted by the Public Works Director and considered by the Council and are hereby approved and directed to be placed on file. The improvement proposed to be made in the general manner set forth in the report is designated as Improvement No. SS-68-36. 2. The Village Council shall meet at the Village Council Chambers, 2701 North Lexington Avenue, on March 31, 1969, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed improvement under and pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 as amended, and the Acting Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of that meeting to be published twice in the official newspaper, Roseville Suburban Sun, which publication shall be a week apart and the second publication shall be not less than three days before the date of the hearing, Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429,031, Sub. 1, notice shall also be mailed to the owner of each parcel within the area proposed to be assessed not less than 10 days prior to said meeting.
