<br />NOTICE OF HEARING <br />ON STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT NO. 68-35 <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Village of <br />Roseville, Minnesota, will meet at the Council Chambers in .he <br />Village Hall, 270l North Lexington, in said village, on the 3lst <br />day of March, 1969, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., to ho~d a public hearing <br />pursuant to Minnesota statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, on pro- <br />posed Storm Drainage Dmprovement No. 68-35 consisting of a system <br />of trunk and lateral storm sewers from 12 inch through 42 inch in <br />size to provide immediate outlet for the lands lying approximately <br />three-eighths of a mile north of County Road B-2 and lying approxi- <br />mately three-eighths of a mile east of Western Avenue and adjacent <br />southerly to the intersection of County Road B-2 and Galtier street. <br />The system of sewers is so designed as to provide further storm <br />sewer outlets for the entire area lying west of Rice Street <br />between Minnesota Avenue and County Road C and east of Western <br />Avenue. Such extended service may be achieved by the further <br />extension of storm sewers from the pipes proposed to be constructed <br />under this improvement. The system of storm sewers will discharge <br />into the existing large trunk storm sewer lying on Brooks Avenue <br />and Cohansey Street west of Western Avenue and discharging into <br />the low ground in the easterly end of the Roseville central Park <br />and following through a system of open ditches to eventually reach <br />Lake CWasso. The foregoing is all substantially in accordance <br />with a preliminary engineering report which is now on file and <br />open to public inspection in the office of the acting Village <br />Manager. <br /> <br />The cost of the improvement is presently estimated at <br />approximately $l70,OOO.OO. The area proposed to be assessed for <br />the improvement shall be all those parcels of property lying <br />within the follOWing boundary: <br /> <br />commencing at the center of said Sec. 12, said center <br />section also being the intersection of County Road <br />B-2 and Western Avenue, thence east along the south <br />line of the NE 1/4 of said Sec. 12, 133 feet, thence <br />north and parallel with the west line of said NE 1/4 <br />173 feet, thence east and parallel with said south <br />line of the NE l/4 1038.16 feet, thence south and <br />parallel with said west line of the NE 1/4 to said <br />south line of the NE l/4 thence east along said south <br />line of the NE 1/4 to the extended east line of Block <br />3, Rice street Grandview Addition, Ramsey County, <br /> <br />.,..... <br />
