~, - ~ C ~' _ Project Update The City's Contractor, ASTECH, will be moving in this month to finish up some work that they were unable to complete last year. This is mainly in the boulevards at the following locations: ® South boulevard work between Huron and Dellwood ® Pathway repair between Oxford and Aglen ® South wall repair east of Aglen ® Settlement repair east of Roselawn Village Apartment driveway ® Settlement repair east of Hardware Hank back driveway. If you have questions regarding work pertormed on the project, please contact us. Assessments Your assessment depends on the size of your lot and the total improvement cost. For street projects, the City of Roseville's policy is to assess 25 percent of the street reconstruction costs to the benefiting properties. The assessment rate that was estimated as a part of the Feasibility Report was $48.06/ foot. This was calculated by dividing the total cost for street reconstruction by the total assessable frontage. Once all of the work is complete for this project, we will have the final project cost. The project cost, as awarded, was lower than the engineer's estimate used to calculate the Feasibility Report assessment rate. As a result, it is likely that the assessment rate will be lower than the estimated rate. Thank you! We sincerely appreciate your patience throughout the course of this project. We realize the inconvenience construction projects cause to property owners, especially with disruptions to water service, dust, access difficulties, and construction crews working in your front yards. August 16- Declare final costs for the project and ordering preparation of final assessment roll August 23- Receive final assessment roll September 20- Assessment Public Hearing A notice with your final assessment amount will be mailed to the property owner of record at least 2 weeks before the Public Hearing on September 20th. We will not have the final assessment rate calculated until the week of August. 16th. At this time your assessment is pending. We cannot accept payments for these assessments until after they have been levied. Assessments will be levied after the September Assessment Hearing.
