Summary Sheet <br />MS4 Name: City of Roseville <br />Minimum Control Measure: 6-POLLUTION PREVENTION/GOOD HOUSEKEEPING <br />Unique BMP Identification Number: 6a-1 <br />*BMP Title: Municipal Operations and Maintenance Program <br />*BMP Description: <br />1) Municipal staff training <br />The City currently has in-house training/orientation for new staff, brochures and posting on City information <br />boards. <br />The City staff that conducts storm water infrastructure inspections are trained in the operations and maintenance <br />of all the City's storm water BMPs. All City staff attend training programs offered by outside agencies and <br />manufacturers of equipment used in municipal work. <br />The City conducts annual training for all staff for continuing education. <br />2) Fleet/equipment maintenance and oil recycling <br />The City regularly maintains its fleet and recycles the oil periodically. <br />3) Fertilizer/pesticide/herbicide practices <br />In addition to a fertilizer ordinance, the City uses licensed applicators for application on City owned property. <br />Only organic fertilizer is used on City property. <br />Location(s) in SWPPP of detailed information relating to this BMP: <br />*Measurable Goals: <br />1) Training conducted in-house <br />Brochures and posting on City notice boards <br />Training programs offered to City employees <br />2) Fleet/equipment maintenance program in place <br />Oil recycling program in place <br />3) Clearly defined fertilizer application practices in place <br />*Timeline/Implementation Schedule: <br />Training and practices currently in place and will continue annually <br />Specific Components and Notes: <br />1) Guidance from MPCA "Protecting Water Quality in Urban Areas" chapter on Pollution Prevention <br />Training may include: <br />1.
