<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE;,. MINNESOTA. HELD May 19 , 1969. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a <br />regular meeting of the Village Council of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly called and held at the village Hall <br />in said Village on Monday, May 19 , 1969. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />Councilmen Grauel, Linebarger and Anderson <br /> <br />Mayor Mo 11 * <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: Councilman Curley' <br /> <br />Member Grauel introduced the following <br />Resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5114 <br /> <br />A Resolution determining and authorizing the <br />acquisition by purchase of fee simple title to certain <br />land for the purpose of maintaining and establishing <br />public parks and establishing land for flooding purposes <br />in conjunction with village storm sewers, for the Village <br />of Roseville, Minnesota. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council deems it necessary <br />and expedient and in the best interest of the Village <br />and its inhabitants that the Village acquire fee simple <br />title to certain land for the purpose of maintaining and <br />establishing public parks and establishing land for <br />flooding purposes in conjunction with village storm sewers; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village commenced condemnation <br />proceedings on the instant property which resulted in a <br />commissioners award of $10,600.00 for said tract on <br />April 30, 1963, which condemnation proceedings were <br />subsequently dismissed by Stipulation between the Village <br />and the owners of said tract; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council at a regular meeting on <br />February 26, 1968, determined and authorized the re- <br />commencement of said condemnation action for this tract <br />
