<br />for the above purposesi and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent negotiations between the <br />Village and the owners of said tract have resulted in an <br />offer by said owners to sell said tract to the Village <br />for the total sum of $5,OOO.00i <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE <br />COUNCIL FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE. MINNESOTA,. AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The Village Council hereby deems it necessary <br />and convenient that the property described below be <br />acquired by the Village of Roseville for the purpose of <br />maintaining and establishing public parks and establishing <br />land for flooding purposes in conjunction with village <br />storm sewers, said property being situated in the Village <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, to- <br />wit: <br /> <br />The North 400 feet of the West 500 feet <br />of the East 1075 feet of the Southeast 1/4, <br />Section 4, Township 29, Range 23. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, <br /> <br />That the Village accept said offer to sell <br />and pay the sum of $5,000.00 to the owners thereof for <br />fee simple title. <br /> <br />That the Mayor and Manager are instructed to <br />sign on behalf of the Village an Earnest Money Contract, <br />a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", <br />and made a part hereof. <br /> <br />That the Village Attorney be and hereby is <br />instructed to take such further steps as may be necessary <br />to conclude this purchase on behalf of the Village of <br />Roseville. <br /> <br />The Motion for the adoption of the foregoing <br />Resolution was duly seconded by Member Linebarger, and <br />upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor of the Resolution: <br /> <br />All present <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br />
